And here i was thinking that i was my number one fan. Looks like I've been outdone

My Favourite Spot

Fast becoming my favourite spot is the front deck of our house. Perched precariously close to the 100km/h speed limit road that runs at it's edge, it offers the most surreal (I hate that word) spot to watch the world go by

Bread, Glorious Bread

We love bread, whether it be plain or flavoured. We particularly like making our own. The kids and wife get to choose their own flavours, and i get too bake it, and we're all happy campers.

We're home most Saturday afternoon having a bit of a bake so drop in and have a look

Meet the Boss

Got roped into having to do some gardening by the boss....

While he took some time out to ponder on the more important things of life

But it wasn't long before he was back on deck making sure everything was going along OK

Inaugural wood fired roast dinner

So I'm loving the wood oven. Something primeval about lighting and fire and then cooking on it.

Had the father-in-law round for tea a while ago when the mother in law was out of town. Roast pork, beef, potatoes, spare ribs and pumpkin. The oven was a bit too hot, the ribs were a lot dry and crunchy.. Impatience is one of my strong points......

Spiderman

Late May saw the most amazing displays of floating spiders, many of them got caught on our fence.... Strange but true (and pretty..ooohhhh))
